The more advanced I’ve become at this whole embroidery thing, the more I’ve strayed from pre-made patterns and started doing original work. My primary obstacle to creating original patterns is my mediocre drawing skills. However, I’ve found a few workarounds that I’m having fun deploying.

As some of you know, I’ve been stitching away the last few weeks for a ~big event~. And it’s here! My embroidery is for sale at a real life pop up shop in Marche Maman, a super adorable French café at 237 Centre St in SoHo.

It turns out people have really strong feelings attached to books. Here's what I did with mine.
